“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” -Andre Gide
Eighteen years ago on the opposite side of the globe in a remote coastal clinic without electricity identical twin girls were born. The girls were separated at birth. One was sent to an orphanage. The other remained in the care of a couple living in the coastal village.
In 2002, we found the courage to lose sight of the shore and traveled to the Khanh Hoa Province in Vietnam to adopt that little girl living in the orphanage (and discovered new oceans!).
